If You Died Today, Would You Go To Heaven?
   That is the most important question you will ever answer.  The answer must be a simple YES or NO.  There is no in between.  It matters not who your mom or dad is, how many times you have been baptized, how many churches you have joined or how many good deeds you have done.  NONE of these things will get you into heaven when you die!  In fact, no one is good enough for heaven….

We Are All Sinners!
   That’s right, we are all sinners.  “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23.  We have no righteousness in ourselves.  Our good deeds, our best points of character can never elevate us high enough in God’s eyes.  Friend, you can’t EARN heaven… “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”  Romans 3:10-12

You Are A Sinner!
   According to the Bible, you are a sinner and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

But God Loves Sinners!
   That’s the good news.  Even though you are still in your sin.  Even though you cannot do enough good to lift you out of sin, God Loves You!  That is the root of the gospel.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

   You see, God hates sin!  God must judge sin!  No sin, big or small, hidden or open will escape God’s judgment!  But in spite of all your sin, GOD STILL LOVES YOU!  God loves you so much He gave His own Son to die in your place!  That’s right, you deserve to die but Jesus, the son of God, died for you!  Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for you.

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 
Romans 5:6-8

God Demonstrated His Love toward us by sending His Son.  Christ went to the cross to die for you because He Loves You!

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…” I John 3:1

“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”  Ephesians 2:4-5

It Is Your Decision
  God leaves it up to you to decide.  If you believe that God sent His son for you.  If you believe that Christ died for your sins.  Then admit you are a sinner and confess your sins to God.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9

   If you will confess your sins, God Will Forgive Your Sins!  The penalty for your sins has been paid.  All you have to do is believe and confess and accept Jesus Christ as your saviour!

   The whole process is called repentance. “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out...”  Acts 3:19  Repent means to turn from your sins and sinful lifestyle and turn toward God.  It is a change of direction.  My friend if you will repent, confess your sins, it will change your life!  You will never be the same person again.  It will change your direction!  You will KNOW you would go to heaven if you died right now!
